Frencken Mechatronics is engaged in the development and assembly of industrial systems for the semiconductor industry, the healthcare market and for a wide range of analytical applications. The high-quality precision mechanical components, machine assemblies and vacuum systems are assembled in cleanrooms as well as non-cleanroom environments. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.
What does the position of Team Leader Assembly Volume entail?
As Team Leader Assembly, you will lead a team of over 20 people within our assembly department on a daily basis and discuss the KPIs with your team on a monthly basis. You know how to motivate your people and create ownership among them. You are responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the products within your assembly group. To this end, you ensure that your personnel planning is in order and that there are sufficient fitters to meet the demand. In addition, you ensure that work is carried out according to procedures and work instructions and you perform audits according to the 6S principle.
Your tasks also include:
• Ensuring a safe working environment and a pleasant working atmosphere within the team;
• Keeping the personnel planning in order so that there are enough mechanics present to meet the demand from projects;
• Monitoring and improving work processes according to the 6S Lean model.
Are you our Assembly team leader?
You:
• Have completed a higher professional education, for example in the direction of Technical Business Administration;
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position in a high-tech environment;
• Have great problem-solving skills;
• Have a coaching/teaching style of leadership and have good communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• Are patient, structured and alert;
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
