Manager Talent Acquisition: this is your challenge:
As the Manager Talent Acquisition at Action you will take the lead in building a future-proof international TA function. You will be responsible for shaping, executing, and continuously evolving the global Talent Acquisition strategy.
Leading a passionate team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and Retail recruitment specialist you’ll play a key role in attracting top talent for one of Europe’s fastest-growing non-food retailer. You will report to the Group HRD and work from the International HQ (IHQ) in the Netherlands. Your mission? To transform a reactive hiring operation into a mature, proactive and integrated Talent Acquisition organization that supports Action’s dynamic growth.
As Manager Talent Acquisition, you will have these responsibilities:
Translate the overall business and HR strategy into a clear, scalable TA roadmap for offices, stores and DCs.
Lead the development and implementation of international Talent Acquisition strategies across all countries and functions.
Optimize and professionalize TA processes to ensure efficient, high-quality recruitment operations at HQ and support other entities.
Drive digital transformation by implementing and managing fit-for-purpose TA systems and tools.
Provide strategic and operational guidance and fostering a high-performance, development-driven culture.
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align hiring strategies with organizational goals.
Design and execute impactful talent acquisition initiatives and Lead strategic recruitment projects with international impact.
Maintain strong internal partnerships and manage external vendors, working closely with procurement where needed.
Stay ahead of trends in TA & EB and share knowledge and best practices across the international organization.

This experience you bring to Action:
Education & Experience
An academic degree (or bachelor’s with extensive experience) in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 10-15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, with a strong track record in international and/or retail environments.
Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams.
Proven experience in building or transforming a TA function from the ground up.
Deep knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, assessment tools, TA technology, and job marketing.
Project management skills and the ability to lead complex initiatives.
Experience with SuccessFactors is a strong advantage.
